We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, to transport goods efficiently and on schedule. This role requires a commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Responsibilities Operate trucks in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Safely transport freight to designated locations while ensuring timely deliveries. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays. Adhere to all safety protocols while operating vehicles in various weather conditions. Assist in training new drivers on safe driving practices and company policies. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of manual transmission operation. Familiarity with different types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks is preferred. Experience with route driving and delivery operations is a plus. Ability to handle freight safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean driving record. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
