Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver and Side Dump Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively. Duties Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and construction debris. Load and unload materials safely at designated locations. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on various routes. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols at all times. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record. Experience in truck driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar vehicles. Strong understanding of route driving and navigation skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Commitment to safety practices in commercial driving.
