224695559 Job Description Family owned and operated company is looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our OTR long haul team.

Requirements:

• Class A CDL
• Acceptable Driving Record
• Ability to communicate effectively(Phone, text, email)

Responsibilities:

• Transport finished goods to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
• Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance when required.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules in a timely manner.
• Document and log work/rest periods and ability to keep track of time spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
• Input trip details into our automated system/Electronic Logbook (ELOG) for each stage of the loading and unloading process.
• Effectively communicate (cell, text, email) with dispatch and management at all times.
• Comply with DOT driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents or violations.
