We are a small, family-run company that values teamwork, reliability, and providing exceptional customer service. A typical day starts at our Puyallup shop around 8:00 AM. You'll ride with a lead driver to multiple customer locations, helping remove furniture, appliances, construction debris, yard waste, trash, and household junk. Some jobs may involve cleaning out garages, storage units, estates, rental properties, offices, or entire homes. You'll work as part of a small team, interact with customers, load trucks safely and efficiently, and help keep equipment clean and organized throughout the day. Most days include 4-6 jobs and a mix of driving between locations, physical labor, customer interaction, and teamwork. No two days are exactly the same. This is an active, hands-on position that is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working outdoors, and seeing different locations every day rather than sitting behind a desk.
Customer Tips:
In addition to hourly pay, team members typically earn $200-$400 per week in customer tips , increasing their total earnings by approximately $8-$12 per hour on average . What This Job Is Like Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Lift and move furniture, appliances, debris, and trash Travel to multiple customer locations throughout the day Work closely with a small team Stay active rather than sitting at a desk Provide friendly, professional customer service Learn truck operations and develop skills for future advancement opportunities Responsibilities Assist with junk removal and property cleanout services Safely load and unload furniture, appliances, debris, and trash Maintain a clean and professional appearance at customer locations Provide exceptional customer service Follow company safety procedures Help keep trucks, equipment, and work areas clean and organized Assist lead drivers with job site operations Represent Busy Bees professionally at all times QualificationsRequired Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license Clean driving record Ability to lift and carry 75+ pounds repeatedly Reliable transportation to and from work Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work well as part of a team Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be submitted with resume (approximately $15 fee through the Washington State Department of Licensing) Preferred Experience driving box trucks, dump trucks, delivery trucks, trailers, or other commercial vehicles Moving, junk removal, landscaping, construction, or delivery experience Experience towing trailers Customer service experience ScheduleTraining Period Monday-Friday Typical start time: 7:30 AM Approximately 2 weeks Regular Schedule Tuesday-Saturday Sunday and Monday off Typical start time: 7:30 AM Typical End Time During the busy season, most workdays end between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM End times may vary based on job volume, traffic, and customer schedules Advancement Opportunities This position begins as a Junk Removal Specialist and offers opportunities to advance into Lead Driver and future Truck #2 leadership roles as the company continues to grow.
