Overview We are seeking a motivated CDL Class A Port/Drayage Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight to and from port facilities using tractor-trailers, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with various types of freight, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, while maintaining high safety standards and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated port routes Transport refrigerated trailers and chassis trailers to various port and customer locations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Route driving to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or specialized trailers to prevent shifting during transit Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedule updates or issues Experience Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record Proven experience driving tractor-trailers in port or drayage environments Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and various trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and chassis trailers Knowledge of route driving within port facilities and surrounding areas Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo securement Join us as a CDL Class A Port/Drayage Driver and be part of a team dedicated to excellence in transportation! Pay:
$24.00 - $32.00 per hour
