The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience driving various types of tow trucks, including flatbed models. This role involves responding to roadside assistance calls, safely towing vehicles, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and manual transmission models, to transport vehicles safely. Respond promptly to roadside assistance requests and provide support to stranded motorists. Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using appropriate equipment and techniques. Perform basic automotive diagnostics and minor repairs as needed during towing operations. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including vehicle condition reports. Ensure the tow truck is in good working condition through regular inspections and maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding service status and vehicle conditions. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; tow truck driving experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and diagnostics. Ability to operate forklifts and other relevant equipment for loading/unloading vehicles. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure situations. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
