Job Description

Class A CDL Flatbed Driver/Yard Assistant Cascade Construction in Lakewood, WA is a fast-growing, family-owned, commercial masonry contractor looking to add a valuable team member to our company. This is a full-time, year-round position that is based out of our Tacoma warehouse location. This position is Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Typical workday is 7-3:30pm depending on delivery needs. Driving responsibilities will fill 25-50% of workday hours. Why work for

Position responsibilities:
Local job-site delivery of construction materials including loading and unloading equipment. Strapping, and chaining flatbed loads Hook lift containers and flatbed swaps Completion of associated paperwork, including but not limited to daily worksheets, vehicle and equipment inspections. At warehouse, load and unload trucks. Cleaning and organizing yard.
The applicant must:
Have 1 year of Class A CDL experience preferred, with current medical card Must have problem solving skills Experience operating a forklift, load and unload equipment and materials Strapping and Chaining flatbed loads Must be able to lift 100lbs Maintain clean driving record Pass pre-employment DOT drug test Preventive maintenance, service, and repair records Light Duty and Heavy-Duty Truck Maintenance Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to work around the warehouse.
Experience with masonry equipment preferred:
Mixers, grout pumps, forklifts, electric saws, gas saws, scaffolding, and masonry materials.
