In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks and pup trailers and possibly a transfer to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and safety protocols will ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks, and pup trailers including those with manual transmissions, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load, unload, and secure freight such as gravel, dirt, debris, or other construction materials using appropriate equipment. I.E. tarp loads when necessary. Drive route-specific trucks vehicles to deliver materials accurately and on schedule. Conduct routine inspections of the truck before and after shifts; report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes traveled, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records. Follow prescribed routes efficiently while managing multiple stops; optimize driving patterns for fuel efficiency and timely delivery. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience n truck driving, experience with​ dump trucks, preferably pulling a pup trailer, for the right applicant we will train on the trailer. Transfer truck is a possibility for the right candidate. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is required one of the trucks is a 18 speed manual with a 2 speed rearend. And the others are 10 speeds Knowledge of route driving techniques and safety procedures for freight transportation. Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to safety standards.
