Full Job Description Description:
The CDL Commercial Truck Driver is responsible for operating large vehicles (over 26,001 lbs GVW) and light vehicles to transport products and coordinate delivery-related tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a valid Class A CDL and meet all federal/state medical and regulatory requirements. Safely operate vehicles over 26,001 lbs GVW and lightweight vehicles, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies. Plan and execute efficient, timely delivery routes, including overnight runs as needed. Load, unload, stage, and secure products, ensuring accuracy and safety. Maintain communication with the warehouse and management, reporting incidents, accidents, or issues promptly. Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after use, reporting mechanical problems. Accurately log driver mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Assist with inventory management and maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness. Operate forklifts and office equipment as required. Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment. Follow company confidentiality policies and procedures, and complete special projects or other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver License and compliance with all federal/state medical and DOT substance abuse requirements Clean driving record and previous commercial driving experience Strong knowledge of road safety regulations Experience in warehouse environments handling shipments Effective English communication skills Professional handling of complaints and challenging customers Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail, and administrative abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team High integrity, commitment to customer satisfaction, and professional appearance Physical Work/Environment Requirements Position is partially in a warehouse environment and may require the use of various types of tools and/or operation of heavy equipment (e.g. forklift, knives, etc.); position involves driving and will require prolonged periods of sitting May require heavy lifting Requires sitting, standing, walking and lifting Reasonable Accommodation Notice Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform job functions, ask Manager.
