Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to deliver goods across designated routes. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain optimal performance and safety standards. Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adapting to traffic conditions and customer needs. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction. Assist with warehouse activities such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, pickups, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on route driving and customer service. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles preferred. Excellent driving skills with knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices for commercial vehicles. Strong organizational skills to plan routes effectively and manage delivery schedules.
