Commercial Drivers License Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced on site Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver with Tank Endorsement to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operate pump trucks to deliver and pump portal potties in the site according to project specifications. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the pump truck to ensure safety and operational readiness. Set up and position the pump truck at the job site to optimize waste delivery efficiency and safety. Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and team members to coordinate delivery times and address any site-specific requirements or challenges. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the pump truck to ensure continuous operation and report major mechanical issues promptly. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site. Document delivery details, including quantities pumped and any incidents or delays encountered during operations. Duties Safe loading, unloading, transport and discharge of materials requiring specialized skills to manage the liquid's movement. Operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and forklift-equipped trucks. Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents. Assist with loading or unloading when necessary, utilizing appropriate equipment such as forklifts if certified. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during operations. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tank endorsement . Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery. Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not mandatory if willing to learn. Familiarity with different truck types such as flatbed, tanker, dump truck, and roll-off truck is advantageous. Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight transportation and vehicle maintenance. Ability to operate additional equipment such as forklifts is a plus but not required. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safe driving practices and efficient freight handling across various vehicle types. Lodging and travel fligth will be provided for out of state staff.

$30.00 per hour
