Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or freight. Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring secure placement and adherence to safety standards. Drive route-specific deliveries while following all traffic laws and company policies to ensure punctuality. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate logs of mileage, cargo weight, delivery times, and route details for operational transparency. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers to coordinate pickups and drop-offs efficiently. Experience Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar heavy-duty freight vehicles in a commercial setting. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission operation required. Knowledge of safety regulations related to truck driving and freight handling. Experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and freight delivery across diverse environments. Prior delivery driver experience in construction or industrial settings is highly desirable.
