DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

Comply with all DOT regulations and company policies and procedures. Drives products to customers utilizing tractor/trailer. Unloads products to dock. Assist clients with the unloading process. Maintains drivers' logs and other necessary documents daily. Picks up materials needed. Keep trucks in working condition and serviced. Drive in a courteous, safe, and professional manner at all times. Serve as a company advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public. Count freight and contact Plant immediately with any discrepancies of counts, damages, or measurements (live unloads). Observe and report mechanical failures of tractor or trailers immediately. Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at beginning and end of shift and report any problems or damage to Traffic or Plant Manager. Report any accident, regardless of severity or fault, to Traffic or Plant Manager immediately.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

CDL-A / DOT

Certification with clean driving record.

• Minimum 1 Year CDL experience required.
• 3+ Years of driving experience. Drivers with less experience will be considered and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
• Able to lift and carry 50+ pounds constantly
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Flexibility to work overtime.

Pay rate:
