Tow Truck Operator

We are looking for nightly on call drivers, with some weekend days through out the month. Responsibilities Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles of all types. Perform automotive diagnostics and basic repairs to assess vehicle condition before towing. Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other lifting devices when necessary. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including details of the vehicle, location, and condition. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, ensuring safety for all parties involved. Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Experience Proven experience operating tow trucks or similar commercial driving vehicles. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on automotive repair experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and manual transmission systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license preferred. Experience working with flatbed tow trucks or forklift operation is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations gracefully. Knowledge of load & unload procedures, conflict management techniques, and safety protocols related to vehicle recovery.
