Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our moving and junk removal service team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting customers' belongings, furniture, and junk items across various locations. Your energetic approach and excellent customer service skills will ensure a smooth, efficient experience for clients while maintaining safety and professionalism on the road. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to transport items for moving and junk removal requests Load and unload furniture, appliances, and debris using heavy lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary Ensure all cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction Assist with route planning to optimize delivery schedules and improve operational efficiency Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met at all times Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred Prior delivery driver or courier experience is highly desirable Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks involved in moving or junk removal Familiarity with warehouse operations, forklift operation, or pallet jacks is a plus Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols in transportation environments Join our team to deliver exceptional service while enjoying a physically active role that keeps you moving!
