Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Your expertise in different vehicle types, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers, will ensure that goods are transported securely and in compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, to transport freight across designated routes. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods. Drive different types of trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump trucks, and freight carriers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet schedule deadlines while optimizing fuel consumption. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, report any issues promptly, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries, pickups, mileage logs, and inspection reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that arise during transit. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated. Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight handling. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and familiarity with various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Ability to load & unload cargo safely using equipment like forklifts when necessary. Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and traffic regulations across different regions. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance. Physical ability to handle cargo loading tasks and perform inspections as required. Pay:
