Job Description
CDL Ready Mix Driver | $26.79/hr + $2,000 Sign-On Bonus We're seeking dependable and safety-focused CDL Drivers to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for a stable career, strong union benefits, pension, and the ability to be home daily. As a Ready Mix Driver, you'll be responsible for safely delivering concrete to customer job sites while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate ready-mix concrete trucks to deliver product to customer job sites Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Load, transport, and discharge concrete according to customer specifications Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers Complete delivery documentation accurately and on time Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance concerns Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures Qualifications Valid CDL (Class A or Class B preferred) Strong commitment to workplace safety Ability to operate commercial vehicles in varying road and job-site conditions Experience with ready mix, dump trucks, construction materials, or heavy equipment is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable work ethic and reliable attendance Ability to work independently while supporting team operations Compensation & Benefits $26.79 per hour $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Union Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits Union Pension Program Paid Vacation Paid Sick Leave Paid Holidays Stable, Year-Round Employment Home Daily Conditions of Employment Post-offer physical examination Drug and alcohol screening Background check FMCSA-regulated drug and alcohol testing as required Work Environment This role operates in outdoor construction and industrial environments that may include moving mechanical equipment, heavy vehicle traffic, elevated noise levels, varying weather conditions, heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
