What You'll Be Doing Safely operate ready-mix concrete trucks to deliver product to customer job sites Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and equipment readiness Load, transport, and discharge concrete in accordance with delivery specifications Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers Maintain accurate delivery records and uphold safety and quality standards What Are We Looking For Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles in varied driving and job-site conditions Strong attention to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance Capability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks Effective communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Dependability and flexibility to support operational needs and schedules Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $26.79 per hour $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year) Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled Shaping the future, building successes Heidelberg Materials - your springboard into the future of the construction materials industry.
