CDL Driver/Roustabout Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and versatile CDL Driver/Roustabout Laborer to join our dynamic team on oil and gas exploration and production sites. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, driving commercial vehicles, and performing essential roustabout duties to support drilling operations. You will play a vital role in maintaining smooth operations on the rig site while adhering to all safety regulations and industry standards. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles including tanker trucks, flatbeds, and other heavy equipment required for transporting materials and personnel across the site Assist with rigging, lifting, and moving heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, and other machinery using proper rigging techniques Support drilling operations by handling pipe, tools, and supplies needed for horizontal drilling and pipeline installation Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site, including storage areas for tools and materials Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues related to heavy equipment or vehicles Experience Prior experience working on oil rigs or construction sites with heavy equipment operation is highly preferred Knowledge of pipeline installation, horizontal drilling processes, and oil & gas industry practices is a strong plus Mechanical knowledge related to rigging, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tankers is essential Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and construction site safety procedures is required Proven ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks safely and efficiently Experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license is mandatory; tanker endorsement is a plus Hands-on experience with rigging techniques and mechanical troubleshooting will set candidates apart Join us in a role that combines technical skill with physical activity in a thriving industry!
