Responsibilities Operate a side load garbage Load and unload waste containers with precision and care, ensuring safe handling of all materials. Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with regulations. Drive safely through designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies at all times. Perform heavy lifting tasks manually when necessary to assist with waste collection processes. Maintain accurate records of pickups, drop-offs, and route completion for accountability and reporting purposes. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely collection schedules and efficient route management. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience operating automatic transmission trucks. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues. Prior experience in delivery driving or waste collection is highly desirable but not required. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and waste handling.
