Job Description

We are looking for a mature dedicated employee to assist in the enforcement of the City's parking citation policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be Responsible for supporting the Boot Officer with the installation and release of boots from vehicles. Our Booting Technicians are expected to be calm, clear of thought and in control at all times. They should always know the appropriate responses, no matter the situation in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position plays a vital role in achieving our revenue growth objectives. Booting Technicians are responsible for assisting with the enforcement of parking policies for vehicles on the streets that are in violation of multiple parking citations.

Knowledgeable of Basic Safety Basic Job Knowledge Job Responsibilities:
Survey the location and make sure it is safe for the Boot Officer to Install the boot. Always make sure the Boot Officer and booting process is done in a safe manner. Notify the Dispatcher by (two-way radio) when installing or releasing boot on scaffold vehicles Complete reports for booted vehicles and stolen boots Report existing or potential work hazards Document ALL dispatch and field activities Assist an administrative team with special projects (CSB) Complete all required paperwork and reports in a timely and accurately manner Present daily reports as assigned, detailing service performance Maintain clean and tidy work area Perform other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIRMENTS
Education and Experience High School Diploma or its equivalency Valid Class E Driver's License and clean driving history Six (6) months of experience in a position requiring public contact
Technical Skills:
Strong time management and organizational skills Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (Intermediate Microsoft Work, Excel and Outlook skills) Great communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to liaise at multiple levels High level of accuracy, speed, and data entry skills Attention to details Ability to relate well with others and work in a team environment Ability to work under pressure
