Service Employee/Utility Clerk Pay Rate:
$20.00 per hour At First Student , the Office clerks are an essential part of our team. They create a smooth-running environment to assist the location employees, location managers, and drivers. Re-positions any buses that may impede the traffic in the yard Maintains accurate records and completes Bulk Fuel Receiving Report, Fuel Variance Report, Closing Month-end Report and Meter Calibration Report Notifies the Location Manager or designee when a fuel delivery is required and ensures that accurate stick readings are taken before and after delivery Checks and fills the oil, antifreeze, power steering, transmission fluid, brake fluid, windshield washer fluid and belts on buses being fueled Performs light interior and exterior maintenance on buses as required Performs any other management requests or directives as requested Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Knowledge of bus maintenance Ability to learn maintenance skills. Subject to DOT drug testing and physical. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Incumbent must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office equipment; access filing system/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone.
