Job Description

US 60 Dragway is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented team player to join our Tower Team as a Computer Operator. This is a fast-paced position that plays a critical role in race operations during both time trials and eliminations. Job Responsibilities The Computer Operator will assist with both front and back tower operations, including: Entering driver and vehicle information into the timing database, including: Driver names Car numbers Vehicle year, make, and model Recording and entering car numbers during time trials from the burnout box Entering dial-ins and race information during eliminations Working closely with the Head Staging Official and other tower staff Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a high-speed racing environment Communicating professionally with team members, racers, and guests What We're Looking For No prior drag racing experience is required — our experienced team will provide training. However, successful candidates should have: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask The ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow direction Good verbal communication skills Reliability and dependable transportation A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with long hours Schedule & Work Environment Most race weeks run Thursday through Sunday Expect long hours, including late nights and early mornings Racing continues until the event is complete, so end times may vary If the track is open, we are racing — flexibility is important Additional Information Must be 18 years of age or older Experience with timing systems or track equipment is preferred but not required Timing system used is Accutime — training will be provided Multiple interviews may be conducted for this position If you're dependable, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a high-energy motorsports environment, we'd love to hear from you.
