Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This position requires excellent driving skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including dump trucks, gravel train and lead. If you have a valid cdl class a driver's license and a passion for safe and efficient transportation, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of vehicles,
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Ensure that cargo is properly secured during transportation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members
- show up on time
Skills:
- Valid cdl driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in driving aggregates.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
