Delivery Driver- NYC Metro Region

Overview:

As a delivery driver with Perfect Foods, you will be responsible for delivering fresh produce from our farm to juice bars, health food stores, and private homes of the NY Tri-State area. You must safely and reliably deliver the products, collect payments, complete daily paperwork regarding deliveries, maintain customer relations, communicate with our offices, and monitor your vehicle's basic maintenance (tire pressure / fluids).

Requirements:

Must live within 35 min (of Florida, NY 10921) Must be comfortable driving in busy urban environments Punctual and reliable Must have a valid, clean license with no accidents or major violations in the last few years. A DMV abstract will be requested. (a CDL license is NOT required) Must Have Extensive knowledge of roadways in NYC metro and surrounding areas Must be physically fit and able to lift 60 lb Must be personable with a neat appearance Must be willing to submit to background/reference check & pre-employment drug screening

Position Details:

4 days per week (Tuesday - Friday) Mandatory flexibility to cover other routes on off days when other drivers are out sick or on vacation. (This may be an additional 1 days per month on Average.) NY Metro and Tri-state area includes (all NYC boroughs, Long Island, Westchester, Orange, Rockland, Northern NJ, and some CT) All vehicles are automatic, refrigerated cargo vans Routes average 10 hrs per day and 30 stops Pay based on daily salary, starting at $225 per day. Mandatory training period (1st week) with reduced pay Weekly, direct deposited paycheck on Fridays.
