Description of Responsibilities Operations of all components of sheet rolling lines, including minor repairs and adjustments when needed to maintain production of sheet material of various specifications. Proper use of micrometers, scales, and other inspection or measuring devices as well as visual inspection of finished sheet to maintain process parameters and product quality within specified limits. Maintenance of all written records required in the execution of the job. Ensure a culture of behavior based safety by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines in all activities, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. Other duties specified as needed by supervisor. Knowledge and Skills The ability to interpret and understand written and verbal instructions. Maintaining quality output by checking output and initiating any adjustments or action required. Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area. Reporting maintenance requirements on the equipment used. Working in a safe manner and following all safety requirements. Operation of material handling equipment in the movement of stock and supplies. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Working Conditions Non climate-controlled factory environment; Concrete flooring that may be slippery at times due to graphite. Frequent lifting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping is required as part of this position. Exposure to audible and visual alarms, lights, etc. PPE may be required as appropriate.
