Electric Motors & HV Drivetrain Location:
Fremont, CA (100% On-site, 5 days/week)
Employment Type:
Full-time Required Qualifications Experience 3-12 years of experience in electric motor systems, inverters, and high-voltage drivetrain engineering. Proven experience designing and developing electric motors and drivetrain systems for electric vehicles. Experience taking high-voltage drivetrain hardware from concept through production. Experience working in a startup or small, fast-paced engineering team is highly preferred. Technical Skills Strong hands-on expertise with: PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors) BLDC Motors Induction Motors Experience with inverter hardware and motor drive systems.
Solid understanding of:
HV power electronics DC/DC converters Motor drives SiC and IGBT technologies Strong knowledge of motor control theory, including: Torque control Speed control Encoder feedback systems Education Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. #
