Job Description

Our client, an industry leader in transportation and rail services, is seeking a Rail/Locomotive Electrical & Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Rail/Locomotive Electrical & Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the maintenance and operations department supporting the transportation infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Perform electrical and mechanical commissioning on light rail, locomotive, and coaches Troubleshoot, document, and repair electrical and mechanical failures Work with state-of-the-art diagnostic test equipment Understand and comply with company and industry safety standards Communicate technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing What's Needed? High school diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in electrical testing Proficiency in electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting Ability to read, interpret, and understand schematics Experience using PTUs to troubleshoot onboard systems What's in it for me?
