Shop Mechanic

Job Duties:

Overhaul gas and diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials using hand tools, hoists, and welding equipment Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, braking, and A/C system issues Inspect, test, repair, replace, and install components on automotive, commercial, and agricultural vehicles Perform hydraulic testing on pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders Analyze drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications for disassembly and assembly procedures Determine proper welding methods and equipment using knowledge of metallurgy and fabrication techniques Fabricate custom lifting attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, and related components as needed Inspect and adjust safety devices, guards, and loose components Replace and service batteries and charging system components Read parts manuals and identify necessary repair parts Complete repair request forms and communicate parts/material needs to supervisors promptly Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual in English & Spanish Experience in maintenance, welding, or automotive is preferred.

Pay:

$20 - 28/
