Description:
Laboratory Instructor for Welding, Tenure Track, 9-Month Contract paid over 12 months. The position is expected to begin with the Fall Semester, August 2026.
Salary Range:
$44,790 to $70,830 per

Faculty Position Summary:
The Welding Lab Instructor provides laboratory instruction to, and assesses student learning for, students enrolled in Welding courses. This person prepares welding laboratory, oversees instructor assigned lab work, inspects and provides basic maintenance of equipment, and ensures proper inventory and stock of welding materials.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Welding/Welding Technology and industry certification required. At least 2+ years of combined maintenance and welding experience required. Project a professional image at all times required. Ability to lift and safely carry as much as 50 lbs. required. Must possess mobility to work in a standard shop setting, as well as an outside environment that could include extreme hot and cold temperatures. Ability to use standard office equipment, including a computer and several computer programs. Demonstrated commitment to the mission of the community college.
