The Role:
Keep the fleet moving! We're seeking a proactive and technically proficient Fleet and Plant Maintainer to join our EA Networks team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role focuses on the repair, maintenance, and testing of our fleet vehicles, plant, and tools. You will ensure maximum reliability and safety by performing advanced diagnostics, servicing, and efficient repairs in conjunction with external providers. You'll be a highly motivated mechanic with strong technical skills, a passion for efficiency, while also being accurate and dependable. You will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment where your hands-on work keeps our operations running smoothly. Got what it takes?
  • Experience in a similar role and or relevant experience in a Contracting environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of a wide range of plant and equipment requirements.
  • Heavy Vehicle Licences, Class 2 and 4 or ability to obtain.
  • A self-starter who shows initiative and determination.
  • Intelligent and intuitive - able to assess situations, problem-solve, be decisive and take effective actions quickly and accurately.
  • Proven capability in relationship building and well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work unsupervised and organise own work.
  • Full New Zealand Class 1 Drivers Licence.
