Driveline Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Driveline Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining driveshafts and related drivetrain components across a variety of equipment and vehicles. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of machinery used in industrial, agricultural, and transportation settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse equipment, while contributing to a fast-paced and safety-conscious environment. Duties Diagnose issues with driveshafts anddrivetrain components using schematics and diagnostic tools. Repair or replace driveshafts, universal joints, and associated parts utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques. Read and interpret schematics and ability to read tape measures, etc.. Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed on vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and warranty requirements. Skills Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Proficiency in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering for custom repairs. Ability to operate power tools safely while performing assembly or repair tasks involving heavy lifting or tire service. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
