Full Job Description Summary:
Under direct supervision, the Receiving Inspector will perform a variety of tasks related to the receiving, storage, handling, and shipment of material, equipment, and product. This is a contract to hire opportunity on 1st shift from 5:30am-2:00pm.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections per goods inward procedures Utilize dimensional inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers for receiving inspection. Practitioner level for Internal Flow Warehousing including creating kit and staging material. Pull sales orders and process associated quality documentation. Use ERP system for all tasks. Complete inventory / cycle counts. Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules.
Job Qualifications:
Experience with receiving inspection using dimensional inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers as well as visual inspection. Able to efficiently use computer systems for tracking and documentation. Physically move materials throughout warehouse. Receive items and check them with purchase orders. Attention to detail. High School Diploma required. U.S. Person per ITAR requirements.
