Albuquerque, NM Job Details Part-time $30 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Inspection reporting and documentation Investigation evidence collection Entry level Full Job Description CES is looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to assist Underage Purchasers in performing non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to those under 21 years old is restricted. The inspection is used to establish a retailer's compliance with federal regulations. This work is conducted on a part-time, case-volume basis with flexibility relevant to the individual's schedule. Please note, this role is subject to independent contractor labor standards.
Duties/responsibilities:
Travel with an Underage Purchaser; Identify and verify site address provided Facilitate and observe undercover buys in coordination with trained Underage Purchasers Collect evidence of violations, such as photographs and tobacco products Complete compliance check inspection forms, detailing any violations, when applicable Review retailers for compliance of advertising & labeling signage Required qualifications/skills: Must maintain employment with the State of New Mexico or be employed by a city/county within New Mexico Reliable transportation Attention to detail Strict adherence to deadlines and privacy Must be able to undergo a security clearance background check and become credentialed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Law enforcement & NMDGF employees are strongly encouraged to apply Learn more about this program by visiting: http://www.fda.gov/TobaccoProduct
