Join us and let's get started. Job Description AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Bridge Inspection Team Leader for employment in the Hunt Valley, MD office. The responsibilities of this position include, but may not be limited to, the following: Structural Inspection Team Leader for bridges and ancillary structures. Performing condition inspections of highway or other structures in a variety of environments including confined spaces and at height (proper training and personal protection equipment will be provided). Performing assignments related to the design, analysis, rehabilitation and inspection of highway bridges and ancillary structures. Preparing engineering related calculations and developing drawings and visual aids. Working under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member. Qualifications Minimum Requirements BA/BS plus 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Valid US Driver's License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review. Due to the nature of the work US citizenship is required Certified as a Bridge Inspection Team Leader in Maryland or the ability to obtain in Maryland within 6 months of hiring
Preferred Requirements:
NHI Certification for Bridge and/or Ancillary Structure Inspections (NHI Courses 130055, 130078, and 130087) Professional Engineer License. Fundamental understanding of structural engineering principles, including steel and concrete design Additional Information Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. Relocation is not available for this position. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
