VA Safety Inspector

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated VA Safety Inspector to ensure the safety, compliance, and quality standards of vehicles per VA safety Inspection manual. Must have and maintain a VA Safety Inspection License. M-F work schedule. As a vital member of our team, you will conduct VA Inspections and maintain sticker inventory. Duties Perform detailed inspections of vehicles to assess safety, mechanical condition, and compliance with VA safety Inspection manual. Utilize hand tools and power tools to examine vehicle components, including brakes, lights, tires, and structural elements Document inspection findings accurately and communicate with service advisor Perform minor repairs e.g. bulbs, wipers Conduct heavy lifting when necessary to perform inspections Skills Strong understanding of Va safety inspection manual Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment Experience in vehicle maintenance, automotive service is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail with clear documentation skills to record inspection results accurately.

Pay:

$20.00 per hour
