Casper or Cheyenne, WY Salary Range:
$110,000
  • $140,000 (DOE) A well‑established heavy civil general contractor is seeking an experienced Transportation / Highway Superintendent to oversee the construction and delivery of roadway and infrastructure projects across Wyoming.
This role is responsible for managing day‑to‑day field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance on DOT and highway work. Experience Needed 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on heavy civil, transportation, or highway projects Proven experience overseeing DOT, public works, or roadway construction projects Strong background managing crews, subcontractors, and self‑perform work Experience with grading, utilities, paving, structures, traffic control, and sequencing Familiarity working under tight schedules, specifications, and safety requirements Qualifications Needed Strong understanding of DOT standards, specifications, and inspection requirements Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project schedules Demonstrated leadership in managing field crews and subcontractors Strong focus on jobsite safety, quality control, and productivity Willingness to work onsite and travel within Wyoming as required Benefits Included Competitive base salary of $110k
