In the 1960's our parts were on the Apollo Spacecraft, and today you will find our connectors on the ORION Mission to Mars. We are family owned, AS9100D Certified, and located in Claremont. We are in need of a Quality Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments and supports quality documentation and compliance activities within an AS9100 manufacturing environment. Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of aerospace components and assemblies. Conduct visual examinations and dimensional inspections to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators, and related inspection equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality documentation. Verify product compliance with customer requirements, internal standards, and applicable aerospace quality requirements. Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials and quality discrepancies. Accurately complete inspection reports, test records, certifications, and related quality documentation. Perform repetitive visual inspection and detailed examination of small precision components. Verify inspection equipment is properly calibrated prior to use. Maintain inspection tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition. Requirements Proven experience in aerospace quality control or inspection roles within manufacturing environments. Proficiency with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Excellent analysis skills for identifying defects, trends, or process improvements through data collection and interpretation. Ability to work with precision measuring instruments like micrometers and digital calipers accurately under tight tolerances.
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
