Traffic Control Technician

Job Summary Patriot Traffic Solutions is a professional utility and roadway traffic-control provider based in Indiana. Our mission is to protect workers, motorists, and the public by delivering reliable, precision-driven traffic-control services. We partner with electric utilities, municipalities, and contractors—such as AES Indiana and regional construction firms—to keep critical infrastructure projects moving safely and on schedule. Responsibilities Set up and maintain safe work zones in accordance with MUTCD and INDOT standards. Direct traffic using stop/slow paddles, hand signals, and radios. Install and remove cones, signs, arrow boards, and other traffic-control devices. Communicate clearly with crew members, motorists, and the public. Conduct pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections and complete daily safety forms. Follow all company safety policies and exercise stop-work authority when hazards arise. Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. ATSSA Traffic Control Technician Certification (or willingness to obtain—training provided). Ability to stand for long periods and work in all weather conditions. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
