This is a casual, as-needed position for an experienced en route controller who wants to stay close to the work and bring along the next group coming up through the boards. You will deliver classroom and simulation-lab training to developmental controllers and Certified Professional Controllers (CPCs), mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPOs), and help build the courseware itself. What you'll do Run and support classroom and simulation courses at FAA field sites Mentor developmental controllers, CPCs, and RPOs Contribute to Instructional Systems Design (ISD) work: developing, revising, and maintaining ATC training courses and building scenarios What you need Five or more years of CPC experience controlling live traffic, or recent experience as a contract instructor at an FAA facility That experience at the same type and level of facility as
