Material Coordinator - 2nd Shift HCI | integrated solutions - 2.8 Fort Bragg, NC Job Details Full-time 17 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Productivity software Data collection Full Job Description Material Coordinators are a vital component of the Fort Bragg Arrival/Departure Airfield Control Group (A/DACG) and report directly to the Supply Technician Shift Lead. Material Coordinators are responsible for reviewing and completing aircraft load plans using ICODES and ensuring deploying units adhere to established movement timelines. They inspect cargo for proper packaging, marking, labeling, and placarding, and review all shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness. This position finalizes all cargo and passenger documentation required for air movement operations. Material Coordinators verify that Shipper's Declarations for Dangerous Goods align with diplomatic clearances approved by
USTRANSCOM
(USTC) in
SMS/GDSS.
They also validate that final aircraft weights do not exceed the Allowable Cabin Load (ACL) for each mission. Material Coordinators support data collection and reporting requirements by processing and maintaining air movement records in accordance with established procedures. They plan and coordinate the movement of military personnel and cargo through designated departure and arrival control groups in support of both training exercises and real-world deployments. In addition, Material Coordinators track inbound and outbound missions using
GDSS/SMS
to ensure strict adherence to movement timelines. They may be assigned passenger service support duties to ensure quality customer service and compliance with Installation Out-Processing (IOP) procedures and Defense Transportation Regulations (DTR). Material Coordinators also perform A/DACG dispatch functions, including maintaining aircraft status boards, receiving air mission setups, and relaying critical passenger and cargo movement information to the A/DACG Supervisor, Shift Lead, and other relevant agencies. All Material Coordinators must complete and maintain currency with the Army Air Movement Control Officer (AMCO) course. They must also comply with all OSHA, EPA, fire safety regulations, and internal work instructions, and perform all duties as assigned by leadership. Requirements Obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license Ability to operate GSA vehicles Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays, as required Ability to operate all-terrain vehicles, pickup trucks, and generator-mounted light sets Equipment Utilized Computer Telephone Multi-Function Device (MFD) Calculator
