Access Control Clerk First Coast Security Solutions medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, paid holidays, short term disability, long term disability, 401(k), 403(b) United States, North Carolina, Jacksonville May 08, 2026 Overview Job Skills / Requirements First Coast Security Solutions provides security services nationwide. The Access Control Clerk is a full-time, non-exempt employee assigned to support the Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARFORSOC) at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina (CLNC). This role is responsible for a range of personnel access control functions and general administrative tasks; all aimed at maintaining the records and databases necessary for the daily access control and security of
MARFORSOC
facilities. This role reports directly to the SSP Site Supervisor or Security Specialist.
Pay Transparency:
$18.43/hour + $4.93Health & Welfare (H&W). Responsibilities Prepare, track, maintain, and file all relevant correspondence, badges, records, and documents as required by policies governing personnel security access control measures at
MARFORSOC.
Ensure proper records storage safeguards are in place and that records are appropriately archived or destroyed according to the sensitive nature of the materials and information processed. Perform security functions, including fully identifying visiting personnel, issuing access control badges in accordance with security clearances and access control protocols, and conducting Random Antiterrorism Measures (RAM) such as bag inspections and security tours within the
MARFORSOC
Headquarters facility. Maintain approved Military Construction contractor control and Special Event rosters, applying appropriate access controls as needed. Operate a variety of software application programs, including word processing and spreadsheet programs, to prepare documents such as correspondence, memoranda, reports, papers, charts, statistical tables, messages, and other documents, ensuring accuracy in spelling and grammar. Operate an assortment of office automation equipment, including copy machines, facsimile machines, networked computers, laser printers, shredders, scanners, and other electronic devices. Perform other related duties as required to support access control and administrative operations. Working Conditions Work is primarily performed in an office environment and involves prolonged sitting with occasional standing and walking. The position requires regular interaction with personnel and visitors. May occasionally require lifting up to 25 pounds. Must consistently comply with established security protocols in a fast-paced operational environment.
