TeleOps Operator Shepherd Talent Group Las Vegas, NV Job Details Full-time | Contract $25 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Computer operation Teamwork Computer Science Interpersonal skills Computer literacy Windows Driver's License Attention to detail Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Job Overview An autonomous transportation company is seeking a Vehicle Operations Specialist to support the safe and efficient operation of its autonomous vehicle fleet, remotely (working in office but not out on the field). This role serves as a critical link between automated driving systems and real-world conditions, providing remote operational support and contributing to continuous system improvements. The ideal candidate is highly attentive, technologically savvy, and comfortable making decisions in dynamic situations. This position offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of autonomous mobility while collaborating with engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams. Training Schedules (first 8 weeks)
AM:
Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
PM:
Mon-Fri 3:30pm-12pm Specific shifts will be given 2 weeks before the end of the 8 week training period. The company will only move forward with candidates that are available to either begin or end a shift between 1:30AM - 2:00AM (Some shifts begin at 1:30AM and some will end at 2:00AM). As a Remote Vehicle Operations Specialist, you will: Monitor autonomous vehicles and fleet activity through remote operations platforms. Provide real-time guidance and operational support during unusual driving situations. Execute remote interventions when required, following established safety procedures and operational guidelines. Document operational events, observations, and system performance data. Assist in validating new software features, workflows, and operational tools. Partner with engineering, product, and quality teams to identify opportunities for system enhancements. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Support testing initiatives and operational readiness programs for autonomous vehicle deployments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline. Experience supporting autonomous vehicle operations, robotics systems, transportation technology, or similar technical environments. Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems. Basic understanding of software testing, quality assurance processes, and troubleshooting methodologies. Experience interpreting operational data and performance metrics. Strong multitasking ability in high-tempo environments. Experience with simulation software, gaming platforms, or other systems requiring advanced situational awareness is a plus.
Required Skills:
2-4 years of experience in operations, technical support, fleet management, or another fast-paced operational environment. Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new software platforms. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions under pressure. Collaborative mindset with experience working across multiple teams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass background screening requirements.
