Duties Help This position is loced in an ANG Flying Wing in the Plans, Scheduling, and Documention/Engine Management Section of the Maintenance Operions Flight. The primary purpose of this position is to perform preliminary planning and long term forecasting of utilizion of aerospace vehicles, engines, and associed support equipment.
MAJOR DUTIES
Responsible for advising, planning and coordining aircraft maintenance requirements and utilizion scheduling between maintenance, operions, and external organizions. Actively participes in the Wing Flying Hour Working Group for planning, scheduling, and execution of the Wing's Flying Hour Allocion process. Verifies and reconciles the accuracy of unit flying hour allocions daily with Wing Operions Group and as directed with NGB AVDO and the Flying Hour Analyst. Manages all assigned major commodity areas (Airframe, Engine, Components and Special Projects). Develops, analyzes and evalues multiple Maintenance Informion System(s) (MIS) and various dabases reports, charts and graphs to inform senior maintenance management. Actively participes in daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling, and quarterly/yearly planning programs and meetings. Communices and advises leadership of potential over-utilizion conditions. Analyzes and improves repair processes, methods, procedures and standards. Researches and determines cause for missed maintenance-reled scheduled events and documents findings as required. Develops local procedures to ensure effective and efficient scheduling of engines, support equipment, and develops, writes, and publishes guidance for aircraft document reviews. Reviews both immedie and long-range requirements based on current workload forecasts and conditioned based maintenance and develops plans for obtaining resources to meet production requirements. Plans allocion of resources and distribution of work to ensure production commitments are accomplished as scheduled. Evalues progress, analyzes requirements and availability of resources, communices changing priorities to work center supervisors to ensure work is accomplished efficiently and deconflicts maintenance activities. Monitors and updes stus of Work In Process (WIP). Coordines with office of primary responsibility (OPR) on extension requests to maximize efficiency of aircraft availability. Initie, valide, and submit time change extension requests, as needed. Manages the Configurion Management program. Maintains historical documents and maintenance da essential for aircraft records accuracy. Review and report stus of decentralized records to maintenance operions flight supervisor. Acts as the wing Aerospace Vehicle Distribution Officer (AVDO), coordines aircraft transfer between organizions, generes specific documention (AFTO Form 103, Aircraft/Missile Condition Da). Participes in the development and maintenance of the Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) schedule for all assigned aircraft and equipment. Develops and maintains job standard master listings (JML) for assigned equipment in the MIS in coordinion with functional work centers. Responsible for managing assigned weapon system Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) programs. Chairs TCTO planning meetings. Manages the assigned weapon systems Time Change Items (TCI) program and identifies, monitors, forecasts and schedules items specifically identified in applicable regulion and instructions Requirements Help Conditions of employment

This is a Nional Guard dual stus technician position which requires military membership. For positions requiring the operion of motor vehicles, candides must have a valid ste driver's license for the ste in which they live or are principally employed. For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
: Must have least 24 months experience, educion or training preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in merials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Completion of 2 academic years of educion in an accredited college or university will sisfy the requirements for GS-4 positions.
