Traffic Control Service Technician

Description Diagnose, repair, and maintain various automated gate systems, including slide gates, spike systems, barrier arms, and hydraulic/automated traffic barriers.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on gate systems to ensure long-term reliability and optimal performance.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to effectively troubleshoot and repair systems.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner and provide clear documentation of all work performed.
• Work closely with customers, property managers, and site contacts to ensure minimal disruption during service.
• Install new traffic control equipment as needed and ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and adhere to all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Travel to various job sites on a weekly basis, sometimes requiring overnight stays. 3+ years of hands-on experience servicing traffic control gate systems.
• Proficient with systems and equipment from Magnetic Automation, DKS (Doorking), Delta Scientific, and similar manufacturers.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform work in various outdoor conditions Skills diagnose, Gate Systems, barrier arms, automated traffic barriers Top Skills Details diagnose,Gate Systems,barrier arms,automated traffic barriers Additional Skills & Qualifications Certifications in low-voltage electrical systems or manufacturer-specific training.

This position involves weekly travel covering the East Coast region from Boston, MA to Savannah, GA. Candidates must be comfortable with frequent road travel and occasional overnight stays.
