Access Control Attendant Fairfield, TX | Cinder Residuals Texas, LLC | Full-Time | Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Job Summary:
Cinder Residuals Texas is seeking a dependable and observant Access Control Attendant to manage entry and exit operations at our Fairfield, TX facility. This role is responsible for verifying credentials, monitoring site traffic, enforcing facility policies, and maintaining a secure and professional entry point for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor plant entry and exit points, ensuring all individuals have proper authorization Verify badges, IDs, or paperwork for contractors, employees, and deliveries Log visitor information and communicate with supervisors regarding site access Enforce safety and access policies, reporting violations or suspicious behavior Communicate clearly via radio or phone with internal departments Perform basic inspections of incoming and outgoing vehicles if needed Maintain a neat and professional appearance at the gatehouse or control point Complete shift logs and turn in any required documentation daily Support other Site Operations at the request of immediate
Supervisor or Plant Manager Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in access control, security, or customer service preferred Strong communication and observation skills Reliable and punctual with attention to detail Able to remain calm and professional in a variety of situations Basic computer or tablet use for logging entries
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Work is performed in an industrial facility, including time in control areas and field conditions with exposure to noise, dust, heat, outdoor elements, and operational hazards May involve standing or sitting for extended periods, bending, climbing, using hand tools, and working around heavy equipment or machinery Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights or in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks Use of communication devices or computer systems may be required, depending on job function PPE must be worn and all safety protocols followed
