Job Description

Control Center Room Operator Omniplex $32.73/Hr. United States, Virginia, Chantilly 14745 Lee Road (Show on map) Jun 29, 2026 POSITION SUMMARY Support Aerospace Security Control Center Operations which act as the communication and response coordination control hub at the Chantilly, VA location.
Required:
Secret Clearance withabilityto obtainTopSecret/SCI upgrade. Please list Clearance level on resume to be considered.
Dayshift:
0530-1400 hours, Days off will be Thursday and Friday.
PAY TRANSPARENCY/COMPENSATION
$32.73/Hr.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares a variety of vital reports that ensure the safety and security of all on- sitepersonnel. Performs daily equipment checks of all security equipment in the Security Control Center. Monitor computerized intrusion detection and access control system, multiple CCTV cameras, emergency phone line(s), fire, and facility environmental control system. Operate computerized patrol tour and key control systems, radios, automated public addresssystem, and other SCC security-related equipment. Providescommunication support for both routine security events Serves an informational interface with the public, employees, management, government, and security forces under both normal and emergency. In charge of administering messages to employees using the emergency mass notification system Monitors and provides oversight of all executivetransportto and from the Aerospace campus. Intermittent travel to gain access to work areas and buildings. While performing the duties of this job,you mayvisit locations with varying temperatures and floorsurfaces andmay be exposed to seasonal elements. Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Ability to communicate with individuals and groups in person, by phone, and telepresence. Perform other related work asrequired.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be U.S. citizen. Must have andmaintaina Secret Clearance withabilityto obtainTopSecret/SCI upgrade. Shall possessa valid UL2050 alarm monitoringcertification. Successfully pass criminal,creditand driving records check. Successfullyto passan employmentphysical. Successfully pass criminal,creditand driving records check. Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms. Write and speak clearly and effectively in English. Be fully computer literate with computer hardware. Communicate effectively. Must be able to passtraining and obtain the required certifications and licenses.
