PRODUCTION CONTROLLER
(AIRCRAFT)-Title 32, GS-1152-9, you will provide planning, scheduling and control of aircraft maintenance through a variety of support maintenance shops.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Implements preliminary (advance) maintenance plans for assigned weapon systems and schedules immedie maintenance for transient aircraft. Designes, maintains and monitors current maintenance repair priorities of aircraft to ensure actuality and compliance with flying schedules. Authorizes and assigns aircraft maintenance jobs, job control numbers either manually or through a computerized maintenance system, work priorities, and start and completion times for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft. Conducts the control and dispch of shop assignments. Monitors progress of job completion by dispched personnel. Controls maintenance on assigned aircraft and reled support and training equipment. 2. Maintains visual aids depicting stus of maintenance actions in progress, specialist availability and stus of aerospace vehicles, aerospace ground equipment (AGE), training equipment, transportion and tow vehicles, munitions loads, arming of guns and munitions, and locion of aircraft and dispched AGE. Maintains a visual schedule of daily flying, noting deviions and cancellions. 3. Coordines with Meriel Control on mission capable (MICAP) and non-mission capable stus (NMCS) of parts, adjustments to in-shop work priorities, and verificion of urgency of need designors. Determines the source of supply for cannibalizion actions. 4. Coordines with Quality Assurance on functional check flight (FCF) requirements, Air Operions on flying schedule, other maintenance shops for coordinion of repair work and with other functional areas as required. 5. Requests necessary support services such as fire fighting activity standby, fuel and defuel and civil engineer support. Directs physical movement of aircraft and aerospace ground equipment. 6. Develops and maintains current procedural check sheets for use during actions such as mass loads comb turnaround, broken arrow (nuclear emergency), emergency notificion, aircraft crash, flightline fire, severe weher warning evacuion. Monitors and revises the sequence of preselected aircraft required for contingency commitments. 7. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

GENERAL EXPERIENCE
: Experience, educion or training which indices the candide can reason in quantitive terms, communice orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and da pertaining to repair operions and process characteristics of the production activity.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
: To qualify for the
GS-1152-09
level, applicant must have least 24 months experience, educion or training preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in merials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes.
