Job Description

The Service Valet/Porter is responsible for keeping the service department vehicles staged for the service writers to perform service repair order write-ups and the service technicians to repair the vehicles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
: Keep vehicles moving to staging areas for service techs to work on vehicles. Install floor mats and seat covers in all vehicles, make sure floor mats and seat covers stay stocked and full and ready to be installed. Put alignment hats on vehicles that fail alignment check. Keep service lane clean, free of water, oil and other fluids. Mopped and swept. Keep service drive and ASM area cleaned daily. Walk service parking and service drive roadway and keep clean of cigarette butts and trash, etc. Walk service department and lot to recover seat covers left in vehicles. Vacuum driver front floorboards on vehicles in service drive. Clean windows in service drive and on all service drive doors including the garage doors. Check and restock night drop envelopes daily, if needed. Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or the equivalent; Some experience in an auto repair facility preferred; Must have a valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record and safe driving habits to drive both customer vehicles and company vehicles; Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity; Maintain an elevated level of professional personal appearance and conduct; Proficient knowledge of tools and materials needed to perform departmental duties ensuring an elevated level of customer satisfaction ; Eligible to work in the United States.
