Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Outdoor Shopping Center in Anaheim, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will also support visitors and tenants with strong communication and customer service while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for security-related concerns, offering directions and assistance to guests while supporting location rules and expectations. Assist with observing vendor, delivery, and/or visitor activity, reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
